Privacy policy
Last updated 17 October 2026. forseeno, inc. (a Delaware corporation) runs Forseeno. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and your rights. It covers business owners and their team, Forseeno partners (FAN), and visitors to our website.
The short version
- We read your business apps read-only to send you your brief and warnings. We never move money or change your records.
- We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
- Our code calculates every number. AI only writes the explanation, and our AI provider does not train on your data.
- You can disconnect apps or delete your account at any time.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address, business name, country, time zone, revenue band, industry if you give it, and your WhatsApp number if you choose to add it.
- Data from apps you connect: with your permission, read-only access to your accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks), online store (Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix) and Stripe. We read figures such as bank balances, invoices, bills, customers and suppliers, orders, products, payouts and fees.
- Your messages: questions you send by WhatsApp, email or the dashboard chat, our replies, and your feedback on briefs.
- Billing: your plan and payment status. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see full card numbers.
- Partners (FAN): name, firm, email, WhatsApp number, country, qualification or network description, payout method, referral and commission records.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, times of sign-in and requests, and security events, to keep the service secure.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
| What we do | Legal basis (UK) |
|---|---|
| Provide the service: your daily brief, warnings, answers, reports and dashboard | Contract |
| Send briefs and alerts on WhatsApp | Consent (reply STOP or switch it off at any time) |
| Keep the service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, fix problems | Legitimate interests |
| Run the FAN partner program and pay commission | Contract |
| Make anonymous statistics that cannot identify you or your business, to improve Forseeno | Legitimate interests |
| Keep billing and tax records | Legal obligation |
| Email you about your account, renewals and changes to our terms | Contract and legal obligation |
How AI is used
Our code calculates every figure. We then send those already-calculated figures, and the text of your questions, to Anthropic's Claude API to write plain-English explanations. Every figure in an AI-written message is checked against our calculations before it is sent. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent through the API is not used to train its models and is kept for a limited period for safety purposes.
Automated decisions
Forseeno's software decides which warnings to show you (for example, that cash is running low or an invoice is overdue), using your business's financial data. It does not make decisions about you as a person, such as credit, employment or eligibility decisions, and nothing it does has a legal effect on you.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run Forseeno for us, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only for us. They are listed, with what each one sees, on our Subprocessors page.
- Your advisor, only if you allow it: they see your summary, charts and monthly reconciliation report, read-only, until you switch sharing off in Settings.
- A partner who referred you: if you signed up with a referral code, that partner sees your business name, sign-up date and plan, so we can pay their commission, and none of your financial data.
- When the law requires it, for example a valid court order. Where allowed, we tell you first.
- If Forseeno is sold or merged, to the new owner, who must keep this policy's promises.
We do not sell or share personal information for money or for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in the United States and processed by the providers on our Subprocessors page, most of which are in the United States. If you are in the UK, Canada or Australia, your information is transferred to the United States. For UK data we rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where a provider is certified, or on the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum to standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards.
How long we keep it
